Abstract
The article analyses the production of olive in Libya, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco it includes comparison of growth in production between 1990 and 2003. The work touches on the problems faced by the olive industry in the production and marketing stage. The objective of the research is to study the modern methods of manufacturing and production of olive and olive oils. Another objective is to get to know about the problems and obstacles faced in the process of developing and improving this particular section of agriculture in the selected North African countries.
