Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • All authors are given:
    First name and family name
    Name of the university (or other instutute of employment) + country
    ORCID author's number https://orcid.org/
    AND email address is provided for the corresponding author
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • The text is 1.5 space between the lines; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except DOI or URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate parts of the text, rather than at the end.
  • Where available, DOI or URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines. https://aspe.sggw.edu.pl/details
  • All Figures are editable - or for example editable version of Frigures (graphs) has been attached as Excel file - for publishing purposes.

Acta Scientiarum Polonorum. Oeconomia  publishes original research papers and review papers in English.

Authors need to register in the editorial system prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply log in and begin the five-step process. The system will guide you through the submission process. It also serves as a communication platfrom between the Authors, Editorial team and Reviewers. 

Submitted manuscripts need to adhere to the technical and editorial requirements of the journal.

All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using Similarity Check service (Crossref) before the review process to ensure high quality of the published papers. If plagiarism has been detected, the manusctipt will be rejected. Before submitting your manuscript please learn about other aspects of the publishing ethics the journal adheres to.

The journal has a policy on the use of artificial intelligence and requires authors to submit a statement regarding the use of AI in the preparation of their article.

Acta Scientiarum Polonorum. Oeconomia  is a peer-reviewed journal. Further information about the review process can be found here

Please note the journal charges an article processing charge (APC), which is to be paid in case the work is accepted for publication. Detailed information about the fee is available here. 

All papers published in Acta Scientiarum Polonorum. Oeconomia  will be preserved in the PKP PN repository. This ensures secure, long-term preservation of the journal content, safeguarding it against data loss, and maintaining it for future retrieval if necessary. By this, the journal content is protected and preserved for future use.

The journal has two versions: online and printed.
One of the archiving versions is printed copies stored in the National Library in Warsaw (Poland), the Library of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (Poland), at the headquarters of the Publishing House, and at the editorial office (Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Poland).
Online versions are archived on the OneDrive disk as part of an intra-university service under the Microsoft license, the rights of which belong to the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Poland. Additionally, they are archived on a portable disk at the editorial office.
