Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

All authors are given:
First name and family name
Name of the university (or other instutute of employment) + country
ORCID author's number https://orcid.org/
AND email address is provided for the corresponding author - The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- The text is 1.5 space between the lines; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except DOI or URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate parts of the text, rather than at the end.
- Where available, DOI or URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines. https://aspe.sggw.edu.pl/details
- All Figures are editable - or for example editable version of Frigures (graphs) has been attached as Excel file - for publishing purposes.
Copyright Notice
The Authors accept the following License Agreement. The Authors acknowledge this Agreement now, at the beginning of the submission process, and later, before the publication, they send us its signed copy. The License Agreement can be found here.
License Agreement
The journal serves as a scientific forum and a platform supporting public policy. All articles are in open access. Articles published in the journal are available under a licence Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 (CC BY-NC 4.0) license, which means that they may be copied, printed, and distributed for non-commercial purposes only.
The authors grant to the publisher the following rights, effective from the date on which the Article is accepted for publication:
- the non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, display, distribute and otherwise use the Article, or any part of the Article, for any purpose, in print, electronic and all other media, and to prepare derivative works, in any form, in all languages, throughout the world, for the full term of copyright;
- the non-exclusive right to license third parties to exercise all or any of the rights granted herein for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
If the manuscript contains any copyrighted material, it is the authors’ responsibility to obtain the necessary permissions from the copyright owner(s). It the copyright allows for publication of a given content, than the information on the copyright type and the link to the original copyright description must be given together with such content.
Subject to the terms of this License Agreement, each author retains the right to re-use the Article for their own commercial and non-commercial purposes, as well as to create derivative works, without permission from Journal Owner or payment to Journal Owner. Each author shall, in connection with any such re-use of the article, fully acknowledge and attribute the original publication of the article Under the same condition Authors may self-archive the paper or an author-created version of their works in their own website(s) and/or in the repository of their department, faculty or funder, or in public scientific archiving services.*
Reversion of rights
Articles may sometimes be accepted for publication but later rejected in the publication process, in which case all rights granted to Publisher under this License Agreement will revert to the author.
Corresponding Author signs for and accepts responsibility for releasing this statement on behalf of any and all Co-Authors.
* Until Vol. 23, No. 4 (2024), the journal’s PDF files included the statement ‘© Copyright by Wydawnictwo SGGW,’ reflecting the copyright policy in effect at that time.
As of Vol. 24, No. 1 (2025), the journal has implemented a revised copyright policy, whereby authors retain copyright and all articles are published under a Creative Commons CC BY-NC license.
